You Have Dry Skin? You Are Losing Your Hair? Find Out Which Vitamins You Are Missing

First, let me ask you a question – do you know what are vitamins? First you should know that vitamins are the reason that leads to these uncertain consequences. Vitamin is an organic chemical compound and a vital nutrient that an organism requires. The common symptoms that we see are dry skin, red rashes, and hair loss. Here’s what you need to know about these symptoms and what you should to do about it:

Cracks on the lips

First, you should know that cracks on the lips means that you are missing iron, zinc, and vitamin B (B3, B2, and B12). You should also know that this is a common case among vegetarians, because they do not consume enough of these vitamins and nutrients, due to their diet. So, if you want to get rid of this problem, you should consume enough amount of Swiss chard, peanuts, legumes plants such as lentils, poultry meat, salmon, tuna, eggs, shellfish. Intake enough of vitamin C, to help your body fight against infections. And make sure you combine these products with vegetables like broccoli, red peppers, kale and cauliflower.

Red rash on the face and hair loss

You should know that if you’re experiencing some of these symptoms, it means that your body is lacking in vitamin B7. The medical experts call this vitamin the hair vitamin. Eating fresh eggs, which are rich in a protein called avidin will make you prone to these conditions because this protein prevents the absorption of biotin in the body. As we said, you should eat more cooked eggs instead of fresh, try eating more salmon, avocado, mushrooms, cauliflower, soybeans, walnuts, raspberries and bananas.

Red or white skin changes that are similar to acne on your face, arms, thighs, and back

You should know that this is a symptom of fatty acids, vitamin A and E deficiency. If you want to get rid of this problem you should eat less saturated food, discard trans-fats (margarine), and herbal fat, increasing the input of healthy fats. For vitamin A eat green vegetables, and carrots, sweet potatoes, and red peppers. There is a lot of beta carotene in them and will help your body get the necessary vitamins. For vitamin D, expose yourself 10 minutes on sun.

Numbness and tingling in the hands and feet

If you experience these symptoms, then you should know that you are lacking vitamin B (B9, or folic acid, B6, and B12) and it is connected to peripheral nerves. The symptoms may occur with anemia, depression, hormone imbalance, and fatigue. So, if you want to get rid of this problem, you should consume more chicken meat, crabs, shellfish, beans, eggs, beets, asparagus, and spinach.

Muscle cramps, severe pain in fingers, wrists, legs, and back

First, you should know that this is probably caused by magnesium, calcium, and potassium deficiency. You can lose more minerals if you exercise rarely because of severe sweating. The best way to get rid of this problem is to consume more apples, grapefruit, cherries, zucchini, hazelnuts, almonds, bananas, broccoli, dark leafy greens like kale, spinach, and dandelion.

How to Regrow Hair in 10 days

Most of the people out there don’t like hair loss and are searching for a treatment. Don’t worry. There are many natural and medical treatments.

Try These Natural Treatments for Hair Loss

Sleep/Stress

If you are experiencing hair loss, the very first thing you should do is examine your lifestyle. Have your sleep or stress levels suddenly changed? If so, that may be the root of your problem.

Try to readjust your schedule. If it’s difficult to unwind after work or before going to bed, try meditation. Carve out 10 minutes that are absolutely to yourself. Set your phone to silent and put it in a different room. Then, with the door closed to any distractions, sit down comfortably, cross-legged if you can. Close your eyes and clear your mind, focusing in on your breath is it flows in and out of your lungs. If you are a visual person, imagine that air is a color, and that you can see it filling up and emptying out of your body. If any other thoughts—be they from your personal life, your work life, or something else—start to cross your mind, consciously let them go and return your thoughts to your breathing.

Foods that Prevent Hair Loss

If you are getting enough sleep and are not experiencing stress, consider your diet. Are you getting all of your nutrients?

Iron, protein, and omega-3 deficiencies have all been linked to hair loss. On top of that, vitamins and minerals are necessary for healthy hair follicles and scalp, both of which will keep you hair healthy and decrease hair breakage.

General Diet Tips for Healthy Hair

  • Web MD recommends eating six to 10 servings of vegetables daily.
  • Eat two to four servings of fruit daily.
  • Get enough protein—either two to three servings of meat a day or four to five servings of dairy and beans (keep in mind that a serving meat is three ounces, no larger than the size of your cell phone).
  • Eat foods rich in omega-3, such as eggs, nuts, seeds, and fish.
  • Mix it up! Don’t eat the same foods every day. A variety will ensure that you get all of the vitamins and minerals that you need.
  • Add a multivitamin to your daily routine. Eat it with food to increase absorption.

Foods for Healthy Hair

Need ideas for specific foods? All of the foods below have been recommended for hair. If you eat these regularly, you will natural treat any deficiencies that may be causing your hair loss.

Salmon, sardines, trout, and mackerel: All of these fish will provide protein, vitamin D, and omega-3. Your body cannot create the fatty acids found in omega-3 on its own, and those fatty acids make up 3% of your hair shaft and are also found in the skin on your scalp, so you need to eat them somewhere!
Avocado, pumpkin seeds, and walnuts: These foods are also rich in omega-3, and don’t have the risk of mercury inherent in some of the bigger fish. These fruits and nuts are boons to vegetarians, because they need omega-3 fatty acids for their hair as well. All of these foods also have zinc, the lack of which can lead to hair loss.
Oysters: Oysters also are rich in zinc, iron, and protein. Really, really rich—just six oysters have 220% of your Daily Value of zinc, 33% of your Daily Value of iron, and eight grams of protein.
Sweet potatoes and carrots: These vegetables contain vitamin A, which is crucial for the health of your scalp. Deficiencies in vitamin A can even lead to dandruff.
Eggs: Eggs have protein, zinc, selenium, sulfur, and iron. Since iron is one of the most common deficiencies that lead to hair loss in premenopausal women (who lose some every month with their menstrual cycle), the importance of these minerals cannot be overstated.
Spinach and other leafy greens: In addition to other minerals, these vegetables are important for their iron. They are an excellent source of iron for vegans, and have less cholesterol than animal-based sources.

Effect of Smoking and Drug Use on Hair Loss

Smoking is related to hair loss and baldness, according to research by the US National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health. Other drugs have a similar correlation. If you are taking prescription medicine, consult your doctor or check the side effects to see if that could be a cause of your hair loss.

Medical Treatments for Hair Loss

If the natural treatments above do not work, it is time to consult a doctor. Hair loss can be a side effect of a serious medical condition such as thyroid problems or diabetes. Doctors will also run a blood test to definitively rule out any deficiencies.

If your hair loss is not caused by lifestyle, diet, or disease, then it is due to changes in your hormones related to aging. There are two medicines that can help treat this type of hair loss.

  • Rogaine (minoxidil). Rogaine is an over-the-counter medication that is applied to the scalp. It works best on hair that has just begun to thin. According to Web MD, “[more] than 50% of users claim that it can thicken hair and slow hair loss.” Once you begin using Rogaine, you must continue to use it indefinitely in order to maintain its effects. If you go this route, Costco sells minoxidil at a significantly lower price than most pharmacies.
  • Propecia (finasteride). Propecia is a pill that can treat more developed hair loss in men. It works by blocking the hormones that cause hair loss from reaching the skin. Consult your doctor before taking Propecia.

My Own Experience with Hair Loss, and What I Did about It

I first would like to share with you my experience with my own hair. When I was in school, I used to apply lots of gel on my hair to set it like rock-hard thorns. I applied gel continuously for five or six years, and when I was in higher secondary school, I was shocked to see that my hair was starting to fall out easily. I went to the pharmacy and asked them if they had any kind of hair loss treatment oil or something like that. They gave me some oil costing Rs 250. I applied it, but nothing happened—it was no more effective than using coconut oil.

Sometimes when I touched my hair or used a comb, it would be painful. Online, I bought a hundred products that told me, “Order this bottle and gain hair in one week,” or “Order this ebook; it contains healthy diet for your hair.” None were effective. I lost much of my hair. The middle of my head was particularly bad, and my friends began saying things like, “I can see your bald spot.” I was so lost as to what to do that I started surfing on net again. Again, nothing helped me.

Suddenly one of my friends fell sick. And guess what? His hair started falling out. The doctor told him that it’s some kind of disease, and it resulted in small bald spots on his head. He also tried many cures, but nothing happened. After two months, someone took him to an Ayurvedic doctor. The doctor gave him two roots and told him to rub them with licorice water to make a fine paste and then to apply it to his head.

He did exactly what he had been told. In 10 days, small baby hairs started coming in on his head—and with time, his full head was restored. I told him I also wanted those roots. So he took me to the Ayurvedic doctor. The doctor gave me two roots and told me to put water and licorice root in a glass, then use that water to grind both roots against a hard stone and make a fine paste of them to apply to my head. I followed his directions precisely, and applied the paste to my hair daily. My hair became thick, silky, and strong after washing the head with that paste. More importantly, it began growing back. An amazing hair-regaining recipe I had never heard before was restoring my hair, thanks to that doctor.

I wanted to tell others about these medicinal roots, but I didn’t actually know the names the two roots he had given us. But at last I put that together as well. I have discovered the ingredients, and you can get the recipe for free!

Easy DIY Egg And Olive Oil Hair Mask

I had super, thirsty dry hair and tried many expensive, cheap and in between hair product to fix dry hair. I also used various masks, treatments, even whatever my hairdresser suggested to me. My hair remained thirsty and nothing worked. I had pretty much lost faith in products.

Then one day I just thought why not create a hair mask using eggs and olive oil, two inexpensive kitchen ingredients, which are well known natural moisturizers and high in fat. Moreover, the protein in egg yolk has great ability to strengthen the hair as well. After using egg yolk and olive oil hair mask only for a couple of weeks, my hair turned around from lifeless and dull to silky and shiny and that made me yelled with joy! I am sharing here today this amazing homemade recipe with you.

How To Make Your Own Hair Mask With Egg Yolk And Olive Oil For Dry Hair?

If you have dry hair, I highly recommend that you nourish your hair once a week with this fantastic hair mask for an all-natural way to moisturize and condition dry, brittle strands and keep your hair looking healthy and vibrant, no matter what the season is.

You will need:

(i) Egg yolk: 2

(ii) Olive oil: 2 tablespoons

Method:

(i) Take an egg and separate the egg yolk from egg white. If your hair is long or thick, you will need two egg yolks so as to provide even coverage. Place the egg yolk in a glass bowl. For dry hair, you only need the yolk, not the white. Egg yolk contains fat and protein that will help moisturize and rejuvenate your dry, lifeless hair.

(ii) Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil per one egg yolk in the bowl. Whisk or use a spoon to mix up the yolk and olive oil until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you feel the mixture is too thick, add a little bit of water to the mixture to make it easier to spread evenly onto your hair.

(iii) Massage the mixture evenly into the dry hair. If your hair ends are extra dry, apply extra mask mixture onto your tips than on your roots. Put your hair in a loose bun, cover with a plastic shower cap, leaving the mixture in your hair for a minimum of one hour to work its magic.

(iv) First rinse off the mixture from your hair using lukewarm water, and then shampoo it with lukewarm water to remove excess oil and egg, leaving your hair shiny and soft with no buildup. Be sure to use cool or lukewarm water (avoid hot water) so that the egg yolk doesn’t cook in your hair. If you feel that the smell is still not gone, shampoo your hair once more.

(v) Let your hair air-dry. When done, run your fingers through your hair and voila – feel the touch of your newly hydrated, softer and healthier hair.

Natural Beauty Tips:

(i) If don’t have olive oil handy, but needs a quick natural conditioner, just whisk a whole egg, including yolk and white. Apply the egg into your a little wet hair from the roots to the tips, leaving it on for about 10-15 minutes, and then rinse it out with lukewarm or cool water. This simple conditioner works for any hair type.

(ii) If your hair is exceedingly dry, brittle and damaged, you might like to go for a much more effective hair mask beyond a simple egg and olive oil mask. In such a case consider adding in a teaspoon of one of the following ingredients to make your mask even more effective:

(a) Honey

(b) Aloe vera gel

(c) Milk

(d) Fully ripe mashed banana

(iii) If you want to be more adventurous and experimental, try one of the following oils instead of olive oil to make an egg mask:

(a) Jojoba oil: for oily to normal hair

(b) Almond oil: for normal to dry hair

(iii) Coconut oil: for dry hair

Try any variant of the above superb egg hair masks and share your experience with us.

How To Use Coconut Oil For Hair Growth

If you are searching through magazines and websites for natural hair care products, you will find in many of them the coconut oil listed as a “super-food” for your hair. This is because of its antibacterial and antifungal properties and because it is rich in minerals and vitamins. Coconut oil stimulates hair growth because the proteins and oil prevent the loss of proteins, which can usually lead to hair weakness and damage. If you use it twice a week, by massaging the scalp, you will notice that the circulation and the hydration on your scalp has improved

How to use it?

People that try to stop the hair loss should use it warm, by massaging it gently on the scalp. This way, the coconut oil penetrates deeply in the follicles, strengthens and nourishes the hair.

In order to achieve maximum results, before applying it on your hair you should warm it up a little. Apply the oil on your scalp and rub the scalp gently to ensure that the oil spreads adequately on the entire area. Continue massaging the scalp for at least 5 minutes. Leave the oil on your hair for at least 1 hour (or up to 2-4 hours if you want to achieve maximum results) and then wash it off with a mild shampoo with natural extracts.
You should wash your hair properly as improper washing leads to the oils clogging together on the scalp and inhibiting hair growth.

It is considered to be very effective against head lice, and it is also amazingly efficient in the treatment against the pimples that sometimes appear on the skin of your head. It’s not that only stimulates hair growth, but also makes your hair look shiny and healthy, cleans the annoying dandruff, head lice, and also acts like a natural moisturizer.

The best solution if you want a beautiful, vibrant and sexy hair is using coconut oil to stimulate hair growth. If you are still thinking about it, just look how many hair care products contain coconut oil.
