This is What Happens To The Body When You Eat Pink Himalayan Salt

When someone mentions the Himalayan the first thing that pops into our minds is the Mount Everest, the highest pick on Earth. But now there is something else apart from the peak that catches our attention, and that is salt.

A long time ago (about couple of hundreds of millions ago) there were sea salt beds, deep under the mountains which were covered with lava. It’s been suggested that the lava protected the salt from pollution and it’s untouched and perfectly clean and one of a kind. The salt is hand-mined and delivered to the expanding market.

Why Pink?

The different shades of pink and white suggest that the salt is loaded with iron and other minerals.

Benefits

The natural occurrence of the salt defines the perfect combination of minerals.

Iodine – The salt is found naturally so it already contains iodine, therefore the add it.
Less sodium consumed per serving – The table salt and the Himalayan salt contain the same element. The difference is that the Himalayan salt has larger structure and contains less sodium because of it.

Packs a hearty 80+ minerals and elements – The salt is naturally formed crystal and contains 85.62% sodium chloride and 14.38% of other minerals such as: sulphate, calcium, magnesium, potassium, bromide, bicarbonate, fluoride and strontium.

Pink Salt vs. Sea Salt

Don’t be confused by the fact that the Himalayan salt is mined from the mountains, it’s also referred to as sea salt. Like other types of salt, the Himalayan also comes from a large salted body of water, but it’s the cleanest on the market.

Why Table Salt is Inferior

The needless processes of cleaning, bleaching and heating are removing large portion of the minerals, with exception of sodium and chloride, from the refined salt we use every day.

Adding anti-caking agents to the commercial refined salt block it from mixing with water in the storage containers. Therefore the inability to dissolve induces build ups in various organs and tissue invokes more complicated health issues.

Because the iodine is supplemented artificially it makes it strenuous for the body to absorb it. The U.S. law states that the salt can contain up to 2% of various additives.
